ClubZ! Tutoring Services Arrives in Chicago
by Paul Segedin, Chicago Learning Guide
A recent arrival in the downtown Chicago area, Club Z! Tutoring Services is one of the world's largest one-on-one tutoring program. The program has helped tens of thousands of students nationwide improve their grades, raise their test scores, and learn productive study skills in a variety of topics ranging from mathematics to foreign language to test preparation. Building the student's academic self-confidence is also stressed. Based on an overwhelming amount of educational research, individualized, student-to-tutor instruction is highly successful in improving a student's academic standing. Club Z! provides its one-on-one instruction in an environment highly conducive to learning -- the comfort and security of the home. ClubZ! believes it is this combination of individualized attention and secure learning environment that will enable their students to quickly get back on the academic track. Club Z! tutors are state-certified teachers or degreed professionals with a passion for teaching. A vast majority of their tutors teach or have taught in public or private schools. Students are assigned the same tutor throughout the duration of the Club Z! program. Instruction is truly individualized -- one-on-one. Immediately following each session, Club Z! tutors meet with parents to review their child's progress. Club Z! uses the curriculum of the student's classroom. Their tutors do not introduce new material that would only further overwhelm an already struggling student. The tutor works with currently assigned classroom homework and scheduled examinations. Most importantly, Club Z! students are allowed to work at their own pace. Club Z! offers tutoring for children K-12 and adults in all core subjects -- reading, mathematics, science, history, and more -- plus tutoring in study skills, standardized test prep, assessment testing such as SAT and ACT, music lessons, and much more. Club Z! is also involved in providing educational services to homebound children who are otherwise unable to attend school due to illness or physical limitations. Club Z! offers competitive rates. Parents can decide how often tutors will meet with their child, and there are no long-term contracts required. In addition, Club Z! is an Illinois-approved No Child Left Behind provider. Through this program, parents of qualified students (those who attend schools that are failing to provide quality education) may choose Club Z! to provide tutoring services to their children. Club Z! serves more than 300 locations worldwide, now including the downtown, Lincoln Park, and Lakeview areas of Chicago. Club Z! Chicago can be contacted online at www.TutorsChicago.com or by calling (312) 649-9130.
