Kindred Chicago Central Hospital Announces New Administrator
Kindred Chicago Central Hospital has announced Sandra Yule as its new Administrator. Yule joined Kindred last August as Assistant Administrator for Kindred Hospital Chicago North. In addition to her service at Kindred, Yule brings more than 25 years healthcare experience; both in for-profit and not-for-profit acute care organizations. She began her career in nursing and has served in various functions over the past decade, including management, operations and as a consultant. Yule is a graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She enjoys writing and has written educational newsletters, handbooks and pamphlets for several healthcare systems. Additionally, Yule has written children’s stories and has volunteered as a storyteller in various hospitals.

Brenda Wolf Promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at La Rabida Children’s Hospital
Brenda Wolf has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of La Rabida Children’s Hospital. Wolf’s responsibilities will extend over organization-wide operations, including oversight and integration of Patient Care, Finance as it relates to Operations, Human Resources, Business Development and Facility Support Services. Wolf has been a member of the La Rabida family for more than 18 years. She joined La Rabida in 1988 as Marketing Director and was then promoted to Vice President of Planning and External Affairs, a position she has filled with distinction. Wolf received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana; a Master’s in Special Education from West Virginia University; and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago. "Brenda brings a dedication to La Rabida’s mission, an expertise in business and marketing, and a special understanding of what it takes to care for children with special needs," said Paula Kienberger Jaudes, President and CEO of La Rabida Children’s Hospital.

Condell CEO Earns Public Service Award
Dennis Millirons, president and chief executive officer of Condell Health Network, has received the 2006 Public Service Award from the Kankakee County Medical Society. The society gives the award annually to a community member who has provided exceptional service to the Kankakee community. Millirons, who joined Condell in February 2006, received the award for his work while president and CEO of Riverside HealthCare in Kankakee. He was instrumental in Riverside’s development of an open-heart surgery program and opening of a campus in Bourbonnais, which benefited the health of the community. In addition, he served on the board of directors of numerous Kankakee-area organizations. Millirons remains active in the Illinois Hospital Association. He is chairman of the IHA’s Political Action Committee. As president and CEO of Condell Health Network, Millirons heads the 304-bed Condell Medical Center, Condell Acute Care Centers, and the innovative Condell Day Center for Intergenerational Care, Dayhab (day rehabilitation), Centre Clubs, Pediatric Alternatives in Creative Therapy (PACT), Condell Medical Office Buildings, Condell’s Radiation Oncology Center, and Condell Home Health Systems.
